New draft
Nothing here publishes. Both modes produce a draft object that passes through review, the gate, and approval before it goes anywhere.
The system searches, gathers claims with a source and a date on each, and drafts from those. You do not supply facts — finding them is the job. If the coverage is too thin to anchor a piece, it fails the run rather than inventing the difference.
Opinion takes a side and defends it. The facts rule is unchanged either way: the reasoning is the article's own, the evidence never is.
Awaiting review
The facts sit above the body deliberately. The gate catches doctrine breaks; it cannot catch a wrong date. Read the draft against what it was given.

Archiving removes a post from the public list and the feed. Nothing is deleted.

Discussion queue
Verified comments waiting to be read. Approving publishes the comment exactly as written. Moderation is for profanity and abuse only — disagreement with the article is not grounds for rejection, and the reason codes are limited to the ones the published policy allows.
Denylist
Read by the publish gate and the share generator alike — one list, maintained once. Word matching is the default; substring is for stems like "underwrite" catching "underwriting".
